Sarah Kemp - Director and Head Coach
Sarah has been involved with cheerleading for 10 years, both as an athlete and a coach. She is incredibly passionate, dedicated and strives to bring the best out of her athletes. Sarah is BGU certified in coaching cheerleading at levels 1-3, and tumbling in levels 1-5. She is a qualified physical/mental health first aider, holds an enhanced DBS and is safeguard certified.
Sarah oversees all programme operations and is lead coach to our allstar teams.

Kieran Smith - Head Coach
Kieran has been cheerleading competitively and coaching for 10 years. His fun and energetic approach to coaching continues to motivate athletes and brings enjoyment to coaching. Kieran is BGU certified in coaching cheerleading at levels 1-6, and also holds an acrobatic arts certificate. He holds a enhanced DBS, is first aid & safeguard trained.
Kieran heads up our recreational and tumbling provision. He is also lead coach for our mini team.

Holly McCarthy - Assistant Coach
Holly has competed on and off in cheerleading for 8 years and this year moved over to coaching. She is focused and bubbly, which motivates the athletes to giving their all. Holly is Level 1-2 BGU cheerleading & tumble qualified. She holds an enhanced DBS, is first aid & safeguard trained.
Holly is assistant coach to our mini team.

Chloe Sherwood - Lead Coach
Chloe has been doing cheer for 3 years and this is her first as a coach. She fell in love with the sport whilst at university and is excited to continue growing both as an athlete in the programme and as a coach.
Chloe is BGU certified at levels 1-2 in cheerleading and tumbling, is safeguard trained, and also a qualified sports and rehabilitation therapist.
Chloe is lead coach to Griffins, our youth prep team, and assists with Sirens, our level 2.1 team, as well as in tumbling classes.

Hattie Allen - Lead Coach
Hattie has been cheering competitively for 10 years, and coaching for 6. She is passionate about the sport, loves sharing her knowledge with younger athletes, and watching them grow in talent, strength and confidence. She is BGU certified in levels 1-2 cheerleading and tumbling, holds an enhanced DBS and is safeguard trained.
Hattie coaches one of our stunt groups this season.

Sophia Clough - Assistant Coach
Sophia's passion and love for cheer started 5 years ago when she was introduced to the sport. She has always been involved with sport but cheer has stolen her heart. She is excited to see assist other athletes to learn and grow within the sport.
Sophia is BGU certified in coaching cheerleading and tumbling at levels 1-2 and is also safeguard trained.
Sophia is an assistant coach to our youth prep team, and assists with tumbling classes. She is also a passionate and committed athlete herself, competing on our open team.

Junior Coaches
We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of junior coaches at Bedford Allstars. Our junior coaches are all athletes within our programme and are passionate about cheerleading.
All of our junior coaches have undertaken a BGU certification in junior coaching, and they assist our lead and assistant coaches in our recreational cheer and tumble classes, with some of our older juniors starting to assist in some of our younger teams.
